Betty Lou Cruises Now Hiring Crew And Captains! If you love being afloat, have an authentic smile, know how to work as a team, and have a heart for hospitality, a job at Betty Lou Cruises may be the right fit for you. Restaurant experience is not required; we will hire for attitude and train for skills. Since 1998, Betty Lou Cruises has been Madison's premier cruise line. We offer a unique hospitality experience-- high quality spirits, fantastic food, first-class service, and the best views of the Madison skyline. When our guests step aboard one of our large yachts for a cruise on Lake Mendota, they are ready to escape from the ordinary. Help make their experience one that they will remember for years to come as one of our first-class crew or top-notch captains. Benefits include: a competitive hourly wage plus tips, a basic uniform, and discounts on food at Mariner's Inn Waterfront Restaurant. Our public and private cruises sail during the day and evenings, six days per week from Late May to mid-October. All applicants are required to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) per week as part of their schedule (availability to work both weekend days is a big plus!) Though many of our crew only work during the summer, preference is given to applicants who can work the entire season. Captains and crew members can expect to work between 10 and 35 hours per week depending on your availability and our cruise schedule. Cruises are two or three hours long. Crew must arrive one hour before each cruise for prep, and stay one hour after the cruise for clean-up. We currently have openings for captains and crew!
